It's March the 4th and the builders are moving in. We have been living at Foxes Field for just over seven weeks now and I still can't quite believe we are here. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to live in such a beautiful part of Cheshire. Running along the country lanes or along the canal makes exercising a pleasure.
How difficult do you think it would be to get a builder? Most of the ones I contacted are booked up for nine months or more! I eventually managed to get four quotes and chose to go with Darren Pritchard Design and Build from Wrexham. Not the cheapest quote but I felt I could trust him to do a good job. We shall see! I can't wait to open up to guests but a long way to go yet. Oh, I forgot to mention, hubby broke his ankle on Thursday so guess who will be doing part of the labouring and running around as well as working full time!
